Laser therapy in Florence
Laser hair removal, pigmentation and rejuvenation at Viale Augusto Righi 19.
The Florence clinic is in the Careggi area, and it is where Lumecca is installed, the intense pulsed light platform used on diffuse redness, sun spots and the inflammatory component of acne. Morpheus is also performed here, the radiofrequency microneedling that works on skin firmness and texture: these are the two technologies that characterise Florence and that are not present in Siena.
As with any laser pathway, the real work begins before the session. Parameters depend on phototype, on the target and on any current tan: it is the assessment that determines both safety and result, and that sometimes leads to postponing rather than proceeding.
For those living in Florence the practical difference is simple: pathways that can be started here are completed here, with follow-up at the same clinic. The few technologies available only in Siena are marked as such, so nobody discovers it once a session is booked.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between intense pulsed light and laser?
A laser emits a single, highly selective wavelength; intense pulsed light emits a broad band filtered according to the target. This makes it more versatile on diffuse conditions such as redness or widespread spots, while for other indications a dedicated laser remains the better choice. Which suits your case is decided by looking at the case, not the price list.
Is Morpheus also available in Siena?
No. Morpheus is available only at the Florence clinic, Viale Augusto Righi 19. It is one of the few treatments not offered at both sites, and we prefer to say so here rather than let you discover the journey when booking.
When is the best time to plan a course?
Typically in months of lower sun exposure, because several treatments are not performed on tanned skin: melanin is one of the targets, and tanned skin absorbs energy where it should not. Starting in autumn allows a course to be completed before the following summer rather than interrupted halfway.
