Osteopathy

Osteopathic visit

Manual treatment for posture and pain.

The osteopathic visit addresses postural disorders, muscle pain and cervical tension with a manual, functional approach oriented to the person's overall wellbeing.

The treatment is personalised according to the initial assessment and the patient's goals.

Osteopathic visit

How the treatment works

The visit begins with the clinical history and by listening to the reported complaint: site, nature and course of the pain, working postures, sporting activity, previous trauma or surgery.

This is followed by manual assessment of posture and joint mobility, through which the osteopath identifies areas of functional restriction. The manual treatment is then calibrated to what the assessment reveals.

FAQ

How should I dress?+

Wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. If you have recent test reports, X-rays or MRI scans, bring them: they help to frame the complaint better.

Is the treatment painful?+

The treatment is manual and is calibrated to the person and the complaint. Always tell the osteopath what you are feeling during the session so the techniques can be adapted.
