Ozone therapy

Ozone therapy uses a medical mixture of oxygen and ozone, produced with certified equipment and precisely dosed, administered by the physician through local infiltration techniques.

Ozone therapy is mainly used for spinal conditions (disc herniation, disc protrusion, discopathy) and joint conditions (knee osteoarthritis), as well as an orthopaedic support for tendinopathies and localised pain syndromes. Substances, dosages and the number of sessions are established by the physician based on the clinical picture and may vary according to the individual response.
How the treatment works
Administration takes place in a medical setting through local infiltration (for example paravertebral, intra-articular or peritendinous), using sterile single-use materials and certified equipment.

FAQ
Is ozone therapy suitable for everyone?+
No. Before the treatment the physician assesses health conditions, ongoing medications and allergies. Certain conditions must in particular be excluded (such as G6PD deficiency), pregnancy, coagulation disorders or epilepsy. The treatment is performed only when deemed medically appropriate.
