Dermatological visits, mole checks, dermatitis and skin lesions: these are the focus of Dr Carraro's work at the Skinfarm clinic in Siena, Viale Federigo Tozzi 7. Alongside clinical practice he performs dermatological surgery and CO₂ laser, used to remove lesions requiring an outpatient procedure. This allows patients to be followed without interruption: from initial diagnosis through to treatment and follow-up, within the same practice. He also works in trichology, the field concerning hair loss and thinning: assessment begins with a magnified examination of the scalp, which distinguishes pictures that look alike but follow very different courses.
